Amateur daters go to Oasis. Professionals go to wink. This place is nestled off Lamar in a secret hide out that only a few and select savvy individuals know about. The dishes are expensive, but totally worth every penny. The wine menu is beyond impressive with imports from places such as Cordoba Argentina, or South Africa. I usually get the House Red, but that’s because I’m no wine connnoisseur. The menu changes everyday, according to the freshest ingredients out in the market, but the few stable dishes are the ones that the restaurant is known for. Foie gras is one. Definitely eat it as an appetizer. And the roasted duck is the other. For desserts, I give you two suggestions: the lemon meringue pot and the el rey chocolate cake. Both equally orgasmic. Yes, that is an adjective, and you are reading this right. But if you’re hardcore feaster, beware. The portions are uber tiny and encourage room for dessert.

PLEASE keep in mind that this may well be the most delicious meal you’ll ever have in your life.

WInk is amazing. I love that place. Orgasmic is the only word I’d use to describe the Foie Gras. As far as the desserts, I’m partial to the chocolate soup with milk chocolate-ginger mousse.
